For Colombia: A Recap of Our La Quebrada Relief Campaign

The first coffee we ever served, in the back of the barbershop where Parlor began, was Colombian, a single-producer micro lot from Pedregal de Inzá. More than a decade later, we're still buying from farms in the mountains of southern Colombia. La Quebrada, our regional smallholder blend, comes from more than thirty independent growers in the department of Huila, many of them second- or third-generation farmers.

On August 10, 2026, a magnitude 7.4 earthquake struck western Colombia. Buenaventura, where much of our coffee ships from, was hit hard, and the country is still reckoning with the damage.

The producers we partner with are much further south, in Huila, and came through largely unharmed. But coffee is the smallest part of this story. A country we've worked alongside since our first day is grieving, and thousands of families are starting over with nothing.

From August 19 through August 31, 100% of the sale price on every one-time retail purchase of La Quebrada, and $10 from every wholesale bag sold, went to the Red Cross emergency relief fund for Colombia. Here's what those purchases added up to.

The total came to $2,669, and every dollar of it went to the fund. Parlor covered the coffee, packaging, shipping, and card fees. The Red Cross is putting that money toward shelter, mobile health teams, clean water, and direct cash to families in the areas that were hit hardest.
